Thank you for allowing us to participate in the Veteran's Car Show at the Washington County Fairgrounds! It's always been a great show and it just keeps getting better. The Fairgrounds is a great location, the cars are incredible and there is something for just about everyone. The Military vehicles are always a hit, and it's a great time to say "thank you for your service" to the Veterans. Thank you for all you do, Lynn! Looking forward to August 10th, 2019!

As a Veteran, this was my first time to enter this show with our car, a 2014 Mustang. My wife and I are members of the Mustang Wranglers and I can safely say that our members enjoyed participating and will no doubt be there next year as well to support this event. As a Vietnam Veteran I personally wish to make a comment about the respect shown to us Veterans for our service and it was a day we could share some stories and celebrate our services without the thought of being looked down upon. I have never had so many come up to us and say thank you. It was very heartwarming. The service where you had the programs and speakers was first class, and well received as well. Again, Thank you and we will see you next year! Bill & Cindy Mixon

We have been involved with the Veterans Car Show since the first show in 2012. It has been (and still is) a great show. The main power behind the show is Lynn, whom I refer to as the human dynamo, she’s got so much energy. She may be small in stature, but then so was the Tasmanian devil! The (and truck, motorcycle, military vehicle, helicopter, etc.) show is a great event to attend, especially if you want to see a big variety of different types of vehicles. Every year, the show has gotten larger, and has brought in an even bigger variety of equipment. What started out as a small show of around 100 vehicles has now grown to be upwards of between 400 and 500 vehicles. But of course, the main reason for the show is to honor Veterans, and to help support the facilities and agencies that work for and with Veterans as well. I personally have seen the results of this, and it’s been most gratifying. Being a Veterans myself, it gives me great pleasure to see the good that the show does for Veterans. It is also a very good time to meet and interact with other fellow Veterans as well. The show is probably one of the best is the area, if not the region. 2019 will be it’s eighth year, and as they say ‘on with the show’!

Car shows draw the public in. This one definitely scores! As classic car owners, and as a vets;...this show pulls all the strings. Lynn Kirwan is the wizard who makes all the entertainment gel. As participants, we are proud of our vehicles; but with this show, not only is the cause outstanding (as most are); but Lynn entertains us, as well as the public with all the activities (on the ground and in the air) taking place. Yes! This show honors military veterans. And we're a proud bunch, already. But with Lynn Kirwan's efforts, through this event,....the show embraces all of us with an abundance of gratitude. The support does us proud! And this show will continue to grow. Please join us.....in celebration.

The Veterans Car Show has been and always will be on my calendar. From a personal standpoint, it is important to me that we do all we can to support our veterans. We owe them our freedom, our life and our deepest gratitude for their service to our country. From a business standpoint, these are the people I want to do business with including the attendees, as well as the vendors and car owners. We all share a common belief. The show has grown over the years and I always enjoy the surprise guests! It’s on my calendar already for 2020! Franchot,
This is from a fellow who is a member of the Military Vehicles Collector Club….’I went o the Veterans Car Show today, at the fairgrounds. I love car shows, and knew lots of Vets would be there. But I didn’t know a Huey would fly in. YES! You heard me correct, a Huey flew right in there. Also a Loach, and a Blackhawk. I, of course couldn’t hardly get away from the Huey. OMG, so many memories there. I sat in it with my legs dangling out like we used to do in Nam. But it was Not in the air today when I did that, just on the ground. Still I could visualize the winding rivers of Vietnam below, wondering where they would set us down, and what would be waiting for us there. Somewhat scary, and pretty sad when I think of the lost lives there. But still so glad he brought it. It’s been years since I’ve seen one in the air, and decades since I saw one come in and land.
